This week in our Reading book we are reading “Cross-Country
Vacation.”
In Math we are learning about subtracting hundreds with regrouping.
Our Spelling words are found, down, store, four, smooth, grew,
true, fruit, care and pair.
Extra Special Monday we are having Field Day. Tuesday
we are having early release and the end of fourth quarter and the last day of
school. Also that day is the kickball game fifth graders against the staff.
Blogger’s Note What I’m doing for the summer is going to the beach,
and I’m going to see two movies called "Monster University" and "Dispicable Me 2." I’m
going to the zoo this summer.

Extra Special
June 3 is the last day for
book reports. We are having the 2nd
grade picnic on Wednesday at Matson Park. Everyone should bring a bag lunch and outdoor
toys to play with. Wednesday is popcorn day. On Friday we are having ice cream sundaes with Mrs. Miller's room. Everybody needs to bring a dollar Monday. Friday is popcorn day too.

I went to Key Lime Cove. It was so fun. It has a water park, a basketball court, and

cooked our garden, and Brooke’s mom came in to help. Chicken stir fry was delicious! This week on Thursday the 15th we
have PTA Movie Night and McTeacher’s Night at McDonald’s. This is where the teachers from Jerstad will
be working at McDonald’s and a percent of all money made will go to our
school. Friday is Awards Day for good
grades.
Blogger’s Note I like second grade because I like centers. And my sister said she does not like math because she said it was boring and
now she keeps on saying I do not like
third grade because of the tests she has to do. I think I will not like
third grade because I think the tests they take are hard. Maybe after school I
will ask my mom if we can go to McDonald’s or to a restaurant. Maybe if my mom
