Reading Throne

Our special Reading Throne is finally finished and ready for use!  We are trying to reach our special classroom goal of reading 200 books EACH!  Sounds like a lot, doesn't it!  Well, we are already up to 147 average.  But we need YOUR help.  Please join us any time during our school day and read us a book.  We'll let you sit on our special reading throne.  Every second-grader loves to have their Mom, Dad, Grandma, or Grandpa come to school to visit.  You can bring your own favorite book, or read one of ours.  No appointment necessary, but you might want to check our schedule, so you miss our lunch, recess, and specialists' times.  Please also try to avoid 2:00-2:30 on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.  Thanks!  We look forward to seeing you as often as you'd like!  Email or call me if you have any questions.  See you soon!
